Get Inspired

When creating storyboards, my process often begins with an assignment or a spark of inspiration. For me, it's like watching a film unfold—visualizing every camera angle, edit, and movement. Once the vision is clear, it’s just a matter of translating that cinematic experience onto paper.

Research and sketching

Even with a vivid imagination, there are moments when I encounter gaps in how a scene should unfold. In those instances, I turn to iconic scenes from films, video games, TV shows, animated features, and even paintings. These references serve as inspiration, helping me refine my visuals or spark fresh, original ideas.

03

Rough Cuts

When the ideas are fresh, I create an initial rough pass of the storyboards, using color and basic shapes as visual shorthand for future refinement. My focus is on capturing the energy, camera movements, and cuts in sync with the audio or music, without concern for anatomy or the aesthetic perfection of the drawings at this stage.
