Dark Catt Studios

I had the opportunity to work on exciting projects, including concept art for an Avatar: The Last Airbender video game, a Castlevania reboot, and a Zorro video game. This role allowed me to hone my skills and deepen my understanding of the creative process in the gaming industry.

De-generate

De-Generate is a meditation on the potential loss of sight and what that means for an artist. Since macular degeneration is a genetic disease, it’s possible that I, too, could one day develop it. The film reflects my fears and emotions surrounding this uncertain future, exploring what it means to lose a vital sense as someone who relies on it for expression and creation.

Sin in the second City

Inspired by Abbott Kahler’s Sin in the Second City: Madams, Ministers, Playboys, and the Battle for America's Soul, I developed character designs and concept art for a potential animated series. capturing the lavish and often surreal world of the Everleigh Club, where courtesans entertained an elite clientele. Through stylized visuals, I aimed to highlight the contrasting aspects of this world—elegance mixed with raw sensuality, and humor set against the backdrop of a morally divided society.

Monster Us

A dark comedy project revolving around the absurd and unexpected consequences of things that go bump in the night. The story follows Jim, a rugged mechanic with a classic macho man complex, who’s bitten by a werewolf. â€‹Luckily for Jim, he’s not alone in his journey. The local monsters of his small town have formed a support group at the community college, where they come together to deal with their own supernatural woes.

Miscellaneous Works

This collection of concept art is a random assortment of pieces inspired by a wide array of sources, including books, dreams, personal interests, and more. Each artwork serves as a practice study, allowing me to explore different aspects of visual storytelling, from mood and atmosphere to character design and narrative depth.
